shellcolor_galleryMichelle Cohen is a writerproducer, director, performer, and intuitive who infuses her projects with a unique sense of artistry and a deep belief that creativity should be fun, magical, and uplifting.

Most recently, Michelle was the acting coach, script consultant and advisor on the feature film Lust Life filmed in New York City and was instrumental in bringing Jeff Corey’s memoir, Improvising Out Loud: My Life Teaching Hollywood How to Act to print through University Press of Kentucky with an introduction by his former student, Leonard Nimoy and art work by Jack Nicholson.

She produced the off–Broadway mega-hit,  Schoolhouse Rock Live!, Toasted, the one-woman show she directed, won the Best of the Fringe award in San Francisco. As a filmmaker, Michelle wrote and directed the romantic comedy short, Beyond Belief.

She is a graduate from Sarah Lawrence College and the British American Drama Academy and she has worked extensively as a vocal coach, serving as an adjunct faculty member at several acting schools, including NYU. She was invited to be a guest speaker for UCLA’s MFA Acting Program.

Michelle Cohen has worked as a private coach and workshop facilitator for actors, singers and business people for over twenty years.

Her published books include Downloads From The Universe, Actually, There is Something Under the Bed, MenOpop (a menopause pop-up and activity book), and Of Course You Can Sing! 

Her singing book has now been translated into Inspirational private coaching lessons by Text and Voice Mail. She can also be heard as the ‘voice of nursery rhymes’ in Japan, for an online program she created bonding Japanese mothers with their children through creative, imaginative interpretations of English language stories. As well as the Intuition Tool Kit where you can discover your personal inner guidance and how to work with it.

No stranger to success, Michelle and her diverse projects have been featured on Good Morning America, NPR’s “All Things Considered”, People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, CNN, MTV, all major network news programs, FHM, MAXIM, The Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post…and more.

In her ‘other’ career as an intuitive, Michelle  has given thousands of private channeled sessions. Known for her joyful approach and ability to create a safe environment for curiosity and exploration, Michelle helps her clients discover quality choices that set them on their unique and personal path. Catering to seekers and anyone who finds themselves at a crossroads, Michelle offers assistance that can bring someone in confusion into a state of delight. Her abilities exponentially change the way her clients perceive themselves in positive and permanent ways.

Integrating an innovative approach into film, books, television, and the stage she is currently working on Weird, a novel about four teenage girls and a OUIJA board and Beyond Belief, a romantic comedy feature film.
